You also have the option to choose an aluminum, glass (only for the black fireplace), or soapstone top plate. The cool-touch handle is designed to remain cool to the touch even during operation. Contura’s new ash drawer features a design and damping function that ensures a quiet and gentle slide when emptying it. For those seeking prolonged heat retention, a heat storage set (Powerstone) can be added to the Contura 596 Style fireplace model. Additionally, an accessory fan is available, designed to distribute heat rapidly and maintain a more consistent temperature. This fan is thermostatically controlled, automatically starting when the fireplace is lit and stopping when it’s turned off. Please note that the Powerstone set cannot be combined with the fan. To enhance the viewing experience, the Contura 596 Style fireplace can be installed on a rotating base, allowing for a 360-degree rotation to achieve optimal viewing angles. Both the rotation angle and speed are adjustable to suit your preferences.
