This fireplace model features a glass door and is available in black, complemented by a unique gray Artstone surround. The cool-touch handle is designed to remain cool to the touch, even during operation. Contura’s innovative ash drawer is designed with damping functions, ensuring a quiet and gentle sliding motion when emptying it. For added convenience, you can enhance the Contura 690AG Style fireplace by incorporating a heat storage kit (Powerstone), which retains pleasant warmth for an extended period. An optional fan is also available to efficiently distribute heat and maintain a consistent temperature. The fan is thermostatically controlled, automatically starting when the fireplace is in use and stopping when it’s turned off. Please note that the Powerstone set cannot be combined with the fan. Additionally, the Contura 690AG Style fireplace can be installed on a rotating base, allowing for a 360-degree rotation to achieve optimal viewing angles. You can adjust both the rotation angle and rotation speed to your preference. Furthermore, you have the option to add a separate storage space (available in black, gray, or white) to the right side of the fireplace.
