Natural heat-retaining soapstone makes the Contura 690T Style fireplace truly unique, thanks to the distinctive patterns of the stone, which are one-of-a-kind and give each fireplace its individual character. This fireplace model features a cast iron door, available in black or gray, and is adorned with a soapstone surround. The cool-touch handle is designed to remain heat-free. Contura’s new ash drawer is designed for quiet and smooth operation during emptying, thanks to its thoughtful design and damping function. You also have the option to enhance the Contura 690T Style fireplace with a heat storage kit (Powerstone), which keeps the warmth lingering for an extended period. Additionally, an optional fan is available for even heat distribution, ensuring a more consistent temperature. This fan operates with a thermostat and activates when the fireplace is turned on, automatically stopping when it’s turned off. Please note that the Powestone set cannot be used in conjunction with the fan. Furthermore, the Contura 690T Style fireplace can be installed on a rotating base, allowing for a full 360-degree rotation to achieve optimal viewing angles. You have control over both the rotation angle and speed for a customized experience.
